The 2013-2014 session of the Joined Nations has started. This week, the new rules and expectations for the JN were laid out and members chose their countries. The first JN meeting will be held next Saturday, on September 7th. At that meeting, the President and Supreme Council will be elected and the first problems will be announced.

For the next 3 weeks, JN members should be working on their JN Country Research Assignment. This assignment is meant to teach the ambassadors and the rest of the JN members about the country. They should learn about their country from the websites provided and then create a Presentation and poster to teach others about their country. Presentations will begin in 2 weeks.

Members can also get their first resource points by completing the JN Scavenger Hunt and turning it in to Mr. Brunken (or emailing it or sharing it on Drive). Current Event Worksheets can also be completed started now. Simply download the sheet from here, fill it out, and turn it in to Mr. Brunken (either by hand or via email or Google Drive).
