The following is a recap of what happened in the JN at the January 12th meeting. Remember to take note if you have problems to fix for the next meeting and come prepared. The next JN meeting will be held on January 26.

All problems were fixed this week.

New problems can be viewed on the problems page. New problems next week for Brazil, Saudi Arabia, India, and the whole Middle East region.

A Request for Aid was the only resolution discussed by the JN at the meeting. South Africa requested 8RP from the JN to help with its problem. After a short debate between Brazil and the USA, the request was passed by the JN with a vote of 12-0. The President ordered Japan and Turkey to each donate 4RP to satisfy the request.

Random Events

Two new random events were assigned this week. Israel received 10RP from some government reforms, and an earthquake in Argentina creates a problem for the country. Argentina choose to put its difficult decision off until next week. This event could potentially cause problems for a lot of countries.
